Workwear Express

A pack of 6 socks means a pair, In stock means wait 3 weeks, size 46 - 48 means size 40 - 42 and don't you dare expect a refund.

I ordered 3 packs of Helly Hansen work socks advertised as each having 6 pairs in a pack and being size 46 - 48 which were supposedly in stock on the 26th of December, so a total of 18 socks. After contacting them on numerous occasions I finally received a parcel 3 weeks later, which only contained 3 pairs of socks but in the wrong size, style and fifteen pairs of socks missing. So once again I contacted "customer services" and was told that they would exchange the size of the socks but there was an error with the website so I would have to pay for the additional 15 pairs if I wanted them with each pair costing the same as a pack of 6 does elsewhere on the internet. When I told them that even on the invoice and delivery note they sent me it clearly stated the quantity and size all they could say that Helly Hansen was a premium brand and there was no way I could expect 18 pairs for what I paid (even though you can on other sites) and the best they could do was give me 10% of my next order. So I arranged to have them collected for a full refund via there courier and at a time to suit them so got my Dad to wait in the house all Monday for them to be collected so I could get my refund. They did collect them but now instead of the refund they promised me I should get by the day after they received them I am being told that they are still waiting for the parcel to arrive 4 days after it was sent even though it would have got to them the day after and that it usually takes 3 days after that for a refund to be issued. In essence more false claims, lies and rude customer service staff.

Basically Workwear Express is not just rude customer service or false claims but a matter for trading standards in the way they sell you one thing but then want more money if you actually expect to receive what you paid for. They really are the worst online company I have ever dealt with and almost a month after paying for my items I am now almost £35 out of pocket and seriously doubt getting my money back but fully expect more lies and rude staff. Just avoid them.

Unfortunately, the price indicated on the website as a 6 pack price was an error on our part which was in fact the single item price. This is why you only received three pairs of socks when your order was delivered.

We at Workwear Express carry out extensive research on our products to ensure that all our product prices are some of the most competitive on the market, providing the best overall value for the customer. While this particular product was incorrectly labelled on the website as a 6 pack rather than a single item, the single item price we offer is very competitive.

When issuing a refund for returned goods, it's standard procedure for us to receive the goods prior to issuing the refund to ensure no complications occur for either party during this process. I'm pleased to let you know that we've received the goods and your refund is currently in the process of being refunded to be with you shortly.

Again I apologise for the error which caused the issues when placing your order and I will take a greater look into the situation to make sure that the problems you've highlighted in this review don't occur for future customers.
