Ordered an item on a next day delivery. The goods never arrived due to the courier mislaying the parcel. While agreeing that the goods had been lost Currys refused to offer a refund until their investigation procedures had been exhausted. I pointed out that they could refund me while carrying out their investigation so that I could order elsewhere, they refused and would not send a replacement. I was forced to wait 14 days until the threat of my bank reclaiming the funds made them agree. It took another 5 days to receive it. Amazon would have acted immediately and will get my business in future.
I have known companies who read these reviews offerering to put things right but judging by the reviews here I won't hold my breath.
