I pre ordered a fridge freezer online with the intension of collecting it in a day or two. I received a confirmation number via email . I went to the agreed store to collect the fridge freezer to be told by staff that the price had risen from £246 to circa £339 and I would have to pay the increase.
they informed me I was 24 hrs too late.
Customer service concurred I was too late.
If I tried that on with my customers I am sure I would soon be out of business.
I understand that people let them down from time to time, but when a bona fide client comes to collect the item they should honour the price.
