This is the first time I have ordered flowers to be sent online.
I chose ASDA as the bouquet was a good price and carrier free. (not through the post)
As they were for someone who had just had a bereavement, I was hoping these flowers came up to scratch!
I needn't have worried.
They were delivered on time, and the recipient said they are good quality flowers and the packaging was brilliant!
you cant want no more than that.
well done ASDA
I would advise you to be aware if you buy a product from Currys and it develops a fault, they will NOT accept responsibilty and they ignore your 'Statutory rights' under the sale of goods act 1979/82.
Bought a Logic Washer/dryer in December 2012, it developed a fault after 6 weeks. fault reported, engineer came two days later, no fault found, still not right, different engineer came the next week decided it needed a part and they would ring to arrange a repair. 2 weeks later, no phone call, went to Currys branch, Clough Rd. HULL insisted they would let us know when the part was likely to be available, to be told, it would be another 6 weeks.!!!!!
I said this was unacceptable, and the assistant manager said, it was nothing to do with Curry's and we would have to deal with Logic ourselves, because we hadn't bought an extended warranty (this does NOT cover the first year).
We were made to feel it was our fault.
Went home, rang their Customer Service Centre, who said it was nothing to do with them.
Rang Consumer Direct, who informed us we had a right to a repair in a resonable time, replacement, or refund.
Went back to Curry's asked for a refund, they rang Logic who said"that they would not give an 'uplift' number until ten days later!".
There was nothing we could do at this point.
Spoke to someone at their Head Office in Sheffield, who contacted Logic and we told an 'uplift' number would be produced in 5 days and she would ring to confirm.
5 days later, NO phone call, so we rang Sheffield, to be told that Logic couldn't give an 'uplift' number as there was "Information" missing on the system! After informing the person that we would write a formal letter of complaint and we would be seeking legal redress, it was agreed that the 'uplift' number would be produced two days later.
We went to the store as agreed, to be told, that we could only get a refund when the machine was in their possession.
Please to say this happened the next day.
The above is a very shortened version of what took place, we made NUMEROUS calls and were kept waiting on the phone for long periods of time.
IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH A PRODUCT FROM CURRY'S BEWARE!!!!
THEY TRY THEIR HARDEST TO AVOID MAKING THEIR CUSTOMERS HAPPY, YOU CAN TELL THEM OF THE SALE OF GOODS ACT AND THEY WILL TELL YOU IT'S WRONG TO YOUR FACE!!!
No one was helpful, no one wanted to give telephone numbers or tell you names who to contact higher up the ladder.
ANYONE HAVING TROUBLE, WRITE TO THIS ADDRESS:

Bullet point your letter, add phone calls, visits by engineers, visits to the store, names if you can get them, and relevant info. DO NOT MAKE IT PERSONAL, DO NOT MAKE OPINIONS. Quote the 1979/82 Sale of Goods act, and state you will take legal action if this isn't resolved (their 28day policy does not stand against this)

HOPE THIS INFO HELPS. GOOD LUCK
this is my second review of this firm.Good firm to deal with.I had a problem with my last order. They have a good customercare dept.and they answered my e:mail quickly and gave a good explanation regarding my order.Items which I hadn't received were posted same day and I received them by the next post.Well pleased.
I have only just started to order off ebay, 1 competing in an auction, which I won, the goods came within three days.
3 'shop' sites, the communication was excellent, the delivery time was excellent, and payment for all was quick and easy. will deffinately use this site again. even if I have to pay postage it's still cheaper for me than going into town, and as in Hull we only have one Hobbycraft store, they don't always sell what I need. So at the present I have no gripes.
Another easy to use site. I ordered in the morning and it arrived the next morning!. good prices and bargains to be had in their'SALE' section. to get free delivery you have to spend £35.otherwise the standard charge is £2.99 which I think is reasonable. would use this site again
very easy site to follow. I like the way it shows you that the items are in stock or not.Fantastic delivery service (next day if ordered the previous morning) my only gripe is you have to order £40 to get free delivery, which I think is a tad high. However it will not stop me from ordering from them again, they have super savings in their 'SALE' department.
