I am very disappointed with the service I have received from The Plasma Centre, following my purchase of a piece of oak furniture.
Firstly, when the unit was delivered, it was strapped to a large wooden pallet, which the delivery man refused to take away. I found that very bizarre, I certainly hadn't asked for the pallet or been informed it would be included in the delivery and it was awkward to get rid of.
Secondly, on opening the box, I discovered the unit had two faults - a scratch on the top and unsightly rough edges along a side panel (as if it hadn't been finished properly). It was a shame as otherwise the unit would have been quite nice, but the quality of the workmanship was questionable.
Anyway, I immediately rang The Plasma Centre and to be fair they were quite helpful - they said they would arrange for the unit to be collected and would issue a refund. However, that was three weeks ago and I'm still waiting for it to be picked up! I have phoned and emailed them at least seven times and have still not got a delivery date confirmed.
TPC seem to have their deliveries for larger items carried out by third parties and the communication between them seems somewhat lacking. I've offered to arrange my own courier and then to invoice TPC for the cost but they refused. It's a nuisance since I've got a huge box in my hallway taking up space. And I'm also still owed for the refund.
Ian came and took some family pictures for us and we were delighted with the results - really natural and captured the moment. He is really friendly and makes you feel at ease :)
