I emailed 6 Rolex 'authorised' dealers and phoned 2 to try and buy a Sea Dweller. As I right this, 7 days later I am still waiting on a reply. In contrast I looked on the watchfinder website, seen they had the model and age of watch that I wanted. I gave them a call and within 10 minutes I had bought the watch. I dealt with Tom Holland, who I have to say was brilliant. Everything Tom said would happen, did.
The efficient and slick service that watchfinder provide should set the standard for the Rolex 'authorised' dealers.
To sum up, if you want a watch, speak to Tom.
Not convinced their wait list ticket system works. I was recently on their wait list and was informed that when I received an email I was to select dates and return email. They would then be issued on first come first served basis. I received the email on my blackberry and completed the form within minutes. Nothing
These guys have it sorted. When you forget to order a decreet email lands with their latest offer. Good selection of wines and a very prompt delivery service.
The dispatch of my watch was delayed and I didn't receive any communication to say that it would be. After I contacted their customer service department, I received an email apologising for the delay and stating that the watch had been dispatched.
I have received it today (24 hrs after email) in great condition.
I feel this was a good honest service.
