Took my order with no stock, still waiting for a refund

I placed an order with boohoobaby for a toy box, a week later i received an email saying the item would not be in stock for a least a month and a half, despite taking the money out of my account.

I request a refund and still await the money in my account, nearly a month on since the original order was placed. I have sent numerous emails, the response being the money should be in my account 7-10 working days later, but I am still waiting.

Boohoobaby have the ability to take my payment the next day, but cannot give me my refund for nearly a month and counting.

We apologise for the situation with your order and thank you for bringing this issue to our attention.

Your order was indeed out of stock, and at this point we offered some alternatives we have in stock, which were similar to the toy box you had on order. We apologise that none were suitable and have received your instruction to cancel the order on the 16th January. Cancellation of your order was requested the very same day.

There was an initial delay in the processing of a refund for you, which was down to human error. We have taken action to put measures in place which will prevent this from happening in the future. Please note that your refund has now been fully actioned and should be with you shortly, if not already.
