Novatech
Very good and very cheap ( in a nice way)
I have used them twice, once for a new computer and once for a replacement PSU.
Both times they were very well priced and and the goods were very quickly and efficiently supplied and worked well.
I have had no experience of them when things go wrong with an order of course but that in itself is something of a recomendation.

utterly useless
They agreed by email to alter delivery date to the next day as we were out.
However they then went on to deliver the item on the original day, not the agreed day and to the wrong village and to the wrong house and to a person with the wrong name - absolutely nothing right !!!
Do not use this dreadful company they are utterly useless , worse than the merely 'useless' DHL and worse than the very poor Royal Mail.

What is all the fuss about?
This place is expensive. The only good thing about it when I visited was that there were so few people in there. Maybe that might justify the prices. But it is not nearly as interesting as Aldi's the only truly exciting supermarket.

Guaranteed to annoy
I bought a Sony camera from them and after about 6 months a defect became apparent. I took it back to Argos for repair or replacement under the guarantee. They retained the camera for examination and then told me they wouldn't pay for it because it had been dropped!
Let me assure you readers that I am paranoid in the matter of protecting such a delicate thing as a camera and I swear that the camera had never, ever been dropped - only I had access to it. You cannot rely on a company such as this. I had no financial interest in this matter because If the camera had been dropped I was covered under my insurance policy (who paid out for a replacement). However the camera had definitely not been dropped so in a sense I would be making a false claim to my insurance company but I did explain the position to them before making the claim. So Argos - rubbish - maligned British Insurance company - good.
I have been stupid enough to use this awful company again!!! This time i ordered a physiotherapy ball from them and they tolsd me it would be delivered on a specific day. I stayed in all day - nothing . NEVER EVER AGAIN.
Mattress Next Day
Mattressnextday didn't go to sleep on the job
I had just backed out of a very dodgy looking Groupon deal for a mattress (Companes address was a forwarding address, there was no trace of the company on the internet as having existed more than a couple of months etc) This company though are very well reviewed so I approached them. Very impressed - would certainly recommend them. Delivery the next morning which I found incredibly efficient.
