I ordered a new system board from Scan which was saying In Stock, and requested next day delivery for a quick fix. The order sat Pending for over 36 hours, then finally an email to say it was in fact out of stock!
So, I called them, tried to order a different option, on the website it said 'In Stock' CS lady told me it was not In Stock, so that would have been another 36 hour delay.
Finally we found an example where it was in stock. Arrived with DDR3 memory, replaced System Board, powered up but no POST. Contacted Scan Tech Support who suggested trying different components, so tried different PSU, two other CPUs but still no POST. They decided to RMA it, so I sent Memory and Board back to Scan. Both were tested faulty, but they were claiming the System Board was damaged by me, so basically tough, you wasted your money and it was to go in the bin. The memory was also faulty, and it was because of this I had to reseat CPU a number of times, when one of the pins could have become bent, but it could have been a weak part, Scan did not want to know.
I am still waiting for my refund for the memory two weeks on. Awful Customer Services, terrible having items In Stock when they are not, and I`m so disgusted they didn`t even want to discuss where the fault on the board could have come from. If they had sent working memory, all would have been fine.
Don't recommend them at all, will never use them again.
