bought a washer dryer - 365 Electrical offered by far the best price for the model that I wanted. Ordered on line and received the next day before 10am. I do not have a mobile so didn't get the text giving time, but the driver rang and told me he would be 20 mins and when he got slightly lost he rang again to tell me that so cannot fault the driver's communication! Have not yet fitted the machine so am hoping that the machine lives up to the good delivery!
Very good range of products and offered exactly what we wanted - problem lay with the delivery. I wanted a next day delivery - and rang to ask for this and put it on the order - (next day would have been delivery on Friday). I rang on Monday to chase delivery and goods had not even been despatched ... rang Tuesday afternoon to ask for ETA only to be told that the courier was saying that they had called and nobody was in (porkie pie as I was in and my desk faces the door - no way did a courier call!) so order actually arrived the Wednesday. Not blaming JA Seals for the courier's dubious claim but did think that they might have let me know that the delivery was going to be late.
We've ordered a lot from Victoria Plumb and feel totally frustrated by the website and the fact that there doesn't seem to be serial numbers to quote so we are never too sure what we are ordering! Also when the goods arrive if there is a serial number on the box, it doesn't always match what's on the order form! how confusing is that? as a result we have had to return quite a lot of goods. The transport company is another bone of contention with this inability to give any indication whatsoever when the delivery/collection will be. We have restrictions on timings and to be told that "it can be anytime between 7am-7pm" is no good to us whatsoever!
All in all, the products might be good, but the hassle to get them is, quite frankly, not worth it.
Hi - ordered item - v easy website - item delivered next day - superb service!
Delivery was over a week late - the courier claimed not to be able to find the building (and yet Google Earth can find it!). Not Bigdug's fault -but they really should have a system in place to check that their deliveries have taken place and if they haven't to chase the couriers themselves rather than wait for their customers to chase them. Delivery failed, apparently, four times before they finally managed to find the building the fifth time out. Unfortunately this has marred my impression of the company...
