I'm writing this message in order to limit the extent of consumer damage.
I bouht a chest on 9th of July, 2011 and received the order on 15th of July. However, a piece of the chest was missing in the delivered order.
I immediately informed the shop manager by phone and also sent some emails to their customer service, however, no help & no service from Habitat till today, 29th of July. As a result, the big chest is still leaving without door in our living room for the last three weeks.
Finally they informed me on 29th of July that they are unable to provide the missing part and they would ask us to refund it.
The point is, they are still selling the same model of the chest I bought and showing it at their store and at the online shop now. So, it is quite difficult to understand that the part is no longer available from them.
It is very hard job to take it pieaces again, since I mostly assenbled it and waited for the missing part more than 3three weeks.
As far as I read some cunsumer rating online, I guess that Habitat makes the same kinds of problems quite often. I think the best way is not to buy any big furnitures at Habitat in order to have any troubles.
After very stressful process to waite for the part, finally, to refund the money, there is only very hard job remained......
If there are more people have same problem, we need to contact consumer center and stop their operation !
