I've ordered from this company before, and the stuff arrived in good time - nice quality, good prices, all fine.
For an encore I ordered some other items that were supposedly in stock, and this is where the problems showed up. The items weren't actually in stock, but they would arrive next week... then the week after.. I waited for a couple of months while they waited for stock to arrive. When the expected arrival date got bumped again I got fed up and attempted to cancel... except this isn't so easy.
At the time or writing they'll only allow contact via the post - there are literally no other contact details - and they recommend that you send it recorded delivery. I sent mine by ordinary post, which was clearly a mistake because it apparently meant they felt free to ignore it. My order eventually arrived a few weeks after I'd sent the cancellation.
It does leave a rather bad taste, which isn't really what you want with homebrew!
I live way out in the sticks so Postage is always expensive for me. However on this occasion brewuk managed to sort out the packing in such a way that it was only one parcel which apparently worked out much cheaper, and they refunded the difference to me. There's no reason for them to do this other than just great customer service. Things like this really give you confidence in a company.
