Lovely unusual products
Shopping with Made.com is always a lovely experience. The products are unusual, well designed and good value. The downside is the long lead time, but for what you're getting that's a more than acceptable price to pay. Their customer service is good too.

Great Service
I called BirdSpikesOnline to get their opinion on whether the gutter spikes would work for me. They were extremely helpful and agreed to send me out a sample to look at. This arrived very quickly with lots of additional information. I subsequently went on to buy lots of the seagull spikes. Again these arrived very quickly, well packaged and exactly as described. I can recommend them highly.

ACHICA
Mixed Results
Achica is a really tricky one to review. It is a great concept, unlike anything else I have come across. The range of products they have is fantastic and it offers brands that are often not available easily anywhere else. The product quality tends to be very good and the choice of designs extremely interesting. The website works fairly well, especially now they have added a new feature to show when items are reserved, and the photography is almost always excellent.
On the downside there are some intermittent server issues which means on some days it is basically impossible to buy things as they either can't be added to the basket or you can't check out. Very frustrating.
However, the main downside is on the communication and delivery side of things. Each item is given an estimated delivery date and I would say that they miss this estimate about 50% of the time. In and of itself that is a serious issue, but it is made significantly worse by the fact that there is no additional communication. So a delivery estimate passes with no word from Achica, the estimated date is not updated online and there is no option but to submit a customer service request to chase. On average these contacts take at least 24 hours to answer and the answer is rarely helpful as they seem unwilling to just give a straightforward answer as to when something is expected. Several times I have been given a revised delivery date which then passes as well, several times. On one occasion, after repeated chasing and missed deadlines, they admitted they couldn't get the item after all, but then took months to process the refund. This really is unforgiveable.
I have bought from Achica many times now and each time it is with a feeling of trepidation as to when, or if, the product will turn up. I no longer consider using them if I need something for a particular date.
All in all, great products, often at really good prices, but with astonishingly poor reliability and customer service. Unfortunately the experience and the reliability is poor enough to outweigh the niceness of the products themselves. Such a shame as it is a great concept, but it is being exceedingly badly executed.

Nice easy transaction and good communication. The courier they use doesn't seem to update their tracking info reliably but other than that it was perfect.

We were after a new chest freezer and Appliances Online had a good range available at competitive prices. The purchase was very smooth and we could pick a delivery day to suit. Communication about the delivery via text was very clear and helpful and it all arrived on time, well packaged and exactly as expected. Can't ask fairer that that!

Good value and choice
Pet Supermarket stock an extensive range of the Royal Canin food my cats prefer. Their prices tend to be as good or better than other internet suppliers and their delivery charges are reasonable. very happy to recommend.

Good prices and service
Petplanet is always one of the two or 3 sites I look at when I need to restock on cat food. Their range is reasonably wide and their prices are better than most other sites.
There was a mistake in my recent order and the wrong size packets of food were sent by mistake. I contacted customer service who were extremely helpful and rectified the mistake very quickly.
I can recommend them highly.
Cozibag Bean Bags
Great transaction from beginning to end
I was looking for 2 large bean bags, ideally with a slightly more formal shape than the standard, and came across Cozibag. Their website was easy to navigate, photography and measurements helpful, and product information clear.
I contacted Customer Services with some slightly odd questions about the faux leather's resilience to sunlight and cat claws and got some very helpful and quick responses from Scott.
The ordering of fabric samples was easy and they were free which was a great additional service. In fact the colours on the website are a good representation of the fabrics once they arrive.
Ordering of 1 XL and 1 XXL High Back bag was easy, delivery was very fast and the ability to track the delivery online and the nominated 1 hour delivery slot (which the delivery driver was completely on time for) were really helpful.
Once the bags arrived I was even more impressed than I had hoped to be. The material, although faux rather than real leather, was very nice quality. It looks the part, feels robust and seems to be very well made. And they are EXTREMELY comfortable.
Due entirely to my own misjudgement of quite how large the XXL bag was going to look in my room I wanted to swap that for a second XL size, and yet again Customer Services were quick and helpful in their response. They arranged for a replacement bag to be delivered and the one I was sending back to be collected at the same time. There was a returns postage charge but that is more than fair given it is free delivery coming out and they are bulky things to be couriering around the place.
All in all I can recommend Cozibag unreservedly, for their service, website and products. If I could ask for anything more it would be that they offered other fabrics as well as the leather and the couple of indoor outdoor colours as it would be great to be able to get these in cotton, or faux fur as well.
