Lost Goods

My delivery was lost for several weeks and when it turned up the goods were damaged. Luckily I had taken out insurance and made a claim which wasn't as difficult as I antiipated, (most of us have heard or experienced insurance companies wriggling out of making payment for a justifiable claim). It took several further weeks for the claim to be accepted, but despite the cheque being dated early December 2012, it took until the end of December before I received it, about three weeks.
Don't think I would use them again, certainly look for alternatives and as far as recommending them, doubtful.
As an afterthought about half a dozen people were involved and sent me emails which can cause complications with the lack of continuity, maybe this was the cause of the lengthy time taken.


Good service let down by the product condition on delivery.

Ordered 4 items, 2 Danfoss TRVs and 2 Stelrad radiators.
When ordering it was agreed the TRVs, (to be used on existing rads), would be delivered almost next day as they were in stock, but the rads were on about a 7 day lead time. However, after waiting and then making a phone call I was informed all items were to be delivered together, not good!
After removing the layers of cardbord and plastic wrap both radiators were seen to be damaged, one radiator had to be renewed, again after a futher 7 days, the second rad had/has a damaged removable top grill, this replacement I'm still waiting for.
The only thing going for Plumbnation is the pleasant, curteous and efficient phone service as their prices are equal to other discounters
