I bought a pair of clip in pedals from another store, but could not get it to work. Popped in to the Ruislip store, where they informed me the cleats I had were for a different pedal. They not only supplied me with the correct cleats, but then proceeded to set the cleats up correctly, offered free advice on my bike set up and then suggested insoles based on arch profile.
I ended up buying a lot more cycling kit as I felt obliged given the amount of advice given to me, all in all a first class shopping experience and I will never buy from anyone else again!
After visiting my local branch to make a deposit, I was pressurised into having a "review". The appointment was set up for a Saturday morning at 9:30.
Out of courtesy, I arrived at the branch at 9:20, presented myself at the information desk, and was asked to take a seat.
At 9:40 I asked why I was still being kept waiting and was told the staff member was still busy with her 9 am appointment. I offered to wait a further 5 minutes and left the branch at 9:46.
The staff member on the information desk attempted to re-book this appointment, but what confidence do I have in it being honoured.
All in all a waste of my Saturday morning, and not good enough
