Poor Customer Service & Poor Quality Goods

Bought a duvet cover from Debenhams, looked gorgeous but in no time at all, was plucked. Seems that finger nails, my husband's rough skin etc etc can't be rubbed against the duvet as there's an instant pluck and a run in the fabric. Their customer service from start to finish has been inferior and not customer friendly at all. Stunned to see their very low score on Trustpilot and all without their feedback/attempt at trying to resolve their customers' issues. I reviewed the product on their site but my comments were rejected - too truthful for them no doubt. I've bought lots of things from Debenhams in the past but I'll certainly think twice in future and give the smaller retailers my cash from now on - maybe they care about their customers. I'll also mention my negative thoughts on them whenever appropriate.

The delivery slot for my item was between 11:10am - 12:10pm - it arrived at 11:10am. Can't complain about service like this and praise where praise is due.

POTENTIAL BUYERS BEWARE - POOR AFTERSALES SERVICE

I was very impressed with this site when I first discovered it - York C302 exercise bike was the cheapest I'd seen online. The delivery service was great too and the item was received very quickly and in one piece. Spent a good while following the assembly instructions to the letter, jumped on it to give it a go - a horrendous grinding/crunching noise and resistance from the pedal unit rendering the item unuseable from the start. The fun then started. Even though my contract of sale is with Sweatband.com, I'm still waiting a week later to be contacted by York who will allegedly, send an engineer to my home to assess it. Lead times for hearing from York are ridiculous - a couple of days for a call back (which still hasn't been received) and then a further wait for a repair date - not happy, considering the item is brand new! I'm still waiting, walking round the big thing and it's packaging, all collecting dust, that is absolutely no use to me whatsoever. I certainly hope that I suffer no further inconvenience to resolve this issue as my patience is most certainly running out. I accept that problems arise all the time with things like this but the true test of any business is how well these problems are resolved. I can make no recommendation for this company as their aftersales service is poor! They've got my money and now it's tough it would seem - I'm a captive audience and they will give me some value for the money I spent with them when they choose.
