On Wednesday evening i made order of decking, unfortunately just after processing my order I realised that one quantity was wrong, and also type of decking was wrong, it was meant to be standard decking instead of priceBuster. Next morning five past nine I called eDecs office to rectify problem, I had a brief conversation with Sean (I believe)He asked me if I wanted to cancel previous order which I agreed, then he said that we might be able to sort it out without voiding previous transaction. And I was told that someone will call me back with the result. 10 am someone rang and said that everything had been sorted out and he will have to make sure I will get the right order. Unfortunately except for the quantity I have still received the wrong type of decking, which is full of knots, chunks missing, knots falling out etc.
I have contacted customer service, to find out that collection of wrong decking and delivery of new supposedly higher grade decking, will commence at the beginning of the week.
Finally on 16 August 2011 I got an e-mail saying that decking will be delivered on friday 18th, that's six days after my original enquiry! The decking arrived had a good look and....... is absolutely awful! Again knots missing, chunks of timber missing awful, unfortunately my holiday is coming to the end so I'm stuck with it, I can't afford to wait another week to replace stuff. I am also still waiting for a refund for the difference between the two orders which is around £70. Could you please chase this up?
This is my first transaction with eDecks and I'm not impressed. I'm afraid it will be my last.
I'm definitely going to remove eDecks from my favourites list, and whoever is reading this my advice would be: stay away from eDecks!!!
