My Wife bought me a Garmin Edge 800 for Christmas which I was really excited about. I opened the Garmin and found the rubber grommet, which keeps the cable connections free from dirt and water, to be ill fitting and unable stay in place. I sent the unit back and was very quickly sent a replacement.
The next unit I received had a "hot pixel" when switched on and much to my disappointment this unit also had to go back.
Finally after receiving the third unit everything seems fine. I know the problems I've encountered haven't been the fault of Merlin themselves and I wouldn't hesitate in continuing to use them in the future.
