The frames are not as good value as they used to be. The service not as quick as it used to be. The wow factor has gone. Last few pairs I have had made or ok 'ish'. Glasses direct is reasonable and helps to drive down high street prices , which is no bad thing (its not by accident that after a recession it tends to be charity shops. card shops and opticians that are left standing in the high street - all down to the profit margin ). Glasses direct profit margins seem to be creeping up to join the rest now it has market share
I tried to order on line, the automated procedure keeps saying my bank has declined payment, but I have checked with them and they haven't declined anything. As far as they are concerned its a valid transaction. I Tried phoning elitegadgest at least 10 times over a three day period, but no answer. I am now really suspicious and will make sure my bank does not honour the requests made by me for payment for this item if any requests are made
