I must say I cannot fault the hardware and performance for the HD Desire HD mobile phone. I think it device is second to none. Well Probably the Samsung Galazy S3 but that's far newer.
But I've had a fault with my volume button and speaker where it doesn't work very well. So under EU regulations you have 24months warranty so I've sent it back directly to HTC to repaire the phone.
They've recieved it and just say it's not covered under warranty and it'll cost me over £130 to get it repaired. No description, no nothing. I've been waiting 3 weeks to get a description of the problem and nothing. I've been emailing them every day and nothing.
Will I get my phone back? Who knows. Do they really care? I very much doubt it. But as it stands they have my phone.
I might just bite the bullet, just pay to get it sent back and sell it on a phone recycling scheme and but something better.
Considering that I didn't have to claim on the insurance the only thing that I can fault is that there wasn't an option to download the certificate, especially if it's a short notice insurance booking.
