The self-service machine failed to give me my £5 change. It flashed an error code however when a member of staff appeared he treated me as if I was a conman.When he eventually opened the £5 note dispenser it was empty - he then asked one of the till guys to give him a fiver. Instead of giving this to me, he said he had to get it to go through the machine else it would upset the system! so I stood there for another 5 mins as he tried to get the machine to work. No apology nothing. When the note finally got dispensed he pointed at it and walked off. Just plain rude.
I usually steer clear of the big electrical stores as they are expensive and not very customer friendly.
Until... my dishwasher broke down.
I did loads of research to find the best new model and was pretty surprised to find it was cheapest at Dixons.
It arrived next day and the delivery guys didn't batter an eye lid when I asked them to bring it up to the 2nd floor via a spiral staircase.
They even took the old machine away.
Great service. Will use again.
I needed to buy a new Laptop which I found instock on cclonline.com.
I Placed the order and paid extra for guaranteed Saturday delivery and I received confirmation email.
On Saturday I called CCL to see if they could give me an indication of delivery time only to be told that my order was still in the "system".
The guy was absolutely charmless. He couldn't even be bring himself to say sorry for any inconvenience. Even after I explained that I needed the laptop that evening.
He did however come out with this gem "There's no customer service at the weekend. You will have to call back next week and re-arrange delivery" He wouldn't even get them to call me!!!
Nah... I cancelled the order.
