I know we were unlucky to have gone on holiday to Denmark on the ferry and then due to the ferry getting damaged not being able to get our return trip home. But I do think the company could have handled it better. Getting a txt message on your phone on a Sunday telling you your trip is cancelled and "please contact your booking office for advice". Booking office was closed. I e-mailed only to get an automated response saying due to a high number of enquiries it would take up to a week to get a reply and then they gave a phone number instead. Not easy (or cheap) to phone from a mobile when you are abroad and to a number that is constantly engaged, so I gave up. I think it should have been Scandinavian Seaways responsibility to contact us, not the other way around. I never got a reply to my e-mail, I never got a phone call. We managed to get a ferry home from Holland (thank you Stena Line) but had to pay for that. I had to contact Scandinavian Seaways 2 weeks after we got home, because I still hadn't heard anything. I was then told we had got a refund for the return trip we never got. Better communication and some additional compensation would have been nice. I can't say I won't use Scandinavian Seaways again, it is the only ferry to Denmark and driving all the way to Holland to get the car home wasn't that nice an experience. But I am disappointed with Scandivian Seaways. Very happy with Stena Line though, food was better and cheaper, and good service.
Contacted the company before ordering with an enquiry. They got back to me quickly with a reply and when I ordered the delivery time was very acceptable even with it beeing free 2nd class post.
The price of the product was very competitive
Ordering was easy, reordering works well but a bit more complicated if you want to add an additional item compared to what you ordered last time (I wanted the same contactlenses plus a new order for eye drops). Got order conformation quickly plus within 15 minutes confirmation order had been dispatched with tracking number for Royal Mail.
Received my contactlenses on Friday after ordering them on Tuesday, so slower than last year when I received them next day. Not impressed with Royal mails tracking service, it didn't give any info on the package for the first two days and on the 3rd day the info said the package would enter the system on the date that was the previous day.
