Though I really do not like to wander through huge stores like Tesco they do tend to have everything I ever need from groceries to socks to hair products to car and household products. Their prices do tend to be more expensive than other places (despite their advertisements). Their grocery delivery is always on time (sometimes a bit pricey).
I used Opodo to book flights from UK to US including internal flights once within the US. I could not believe the price so I was a little apprehensive but decided to take a chance. When I clicked the "buy" button I immediately received and Opodo confirmation email. Then a few minutes later received another email that my payment did not go through and call my bank. When I called my bank I was told the Opodo charges (for using card) had gone through but then the actual flight charges had not gone through. Turns out the actual airline carrier books the flights--not Opodo directly. So my bank was confused as transaction happened at once. Anyway, after sorting the bank I called Opodo and the guy on the phone was very helpful. Once the flight payment went through he talked me through getting the confirmation directly from the airline (for peace of mind) which I was able to do instantly. All seems fine. Just keep in mind that the Opodo confirmation is not the same as the airline's confirmation number so you will want to have both handy and use airline's to check in.
