A call was made to Homeserve at 6:30pm, to report a water leak. A seemingly helpful customer service agent took the details and said that a plumber would attend within two hours. Three arguments, many excuses and twenty three hours later, the plumber finally arrived.
You would think that all would be well, but no. He couldn't fix the leak as he didn't have the right equipment on his van...for a straight forward water leak ?!?! Numerous phone calls took place over the next hour, after which he was told by his plumbing company boss to leave the work unfinished. He pipe joints were left loose and hanging, and the leak was still there.
The customer service personnel lied throughout every phone call; making excuses for the delays and giving incorrect information. The plumber didn't seem to know what he was talking about.
Had there been an opportunity to leave a minus rating, I would have done so.
