Love this site - wanted to choose my husband a nice whisky for father's day and even though I'm not a whisky drinker and there is a great variety, I was able to make what I felt was an informed choice from the reviews and comments left by others vs. what I know my husband enjoys in a whisky. It arrived on the second working day after placing my order, impeccably packaged. This was the second time I used this site and the service was just as perfect the last time I ordered which was Christmas time when problems are more likely to occur. Well done The Whisky Exchange. I will be back :-).
Ordered some Lady Million for my sister for Christmas off this site. Not only did I find it at the cheapest price on the web, but it was delivered next working day free of charge. I have already recommended this site to a friend and wouldn't hesitate shopping here again in the future.
I bought some Aloe Vera gel from this seller on Amazon and it was despatched to me on the 11/6/12 and was to be delivered via Royal Mail. Some 9 days later my goods have not been received so I contacted the seller. I was told that as they would not be re-imbursed as a business by Royal Mail until 15 working days had elapsed, I could not have a replacement or a refund. I'm sure everyone in the UK is more than aware of the failings of Royal Mail and that if 9 days have elapsed and your item has not turned up, it's not turning up. I feel very disappointed that the real point of the matter i.e. they have let a customer down has been lost in the red tape of their financial loss as a business. If this had been dealt with correctly I would have accepted a replacement and they could have kept their sale but I'm just requesting a refund now.
Told by new driver she had "no idea" about the service offered by Yodel as she had only just started her employment with them on Monday. Even though the card pushed through my door stated delivery hours covered were up to 9pm I was told that she didn't have to come back out at a time to suit me if she made an attempt between the hours I told her I wouldn't be in.
Gave instructions to leave with neighbour across the road the following day but no delivery even attempted. Order value over £200 now lost by the company I placed the order with due to delivery partner's lack lustre service!
Not very good customer service and looking at the sheer volume of dissatisfied customers on this site who haven't received any sort of acknowledgement from Yodel, it's fairly disgraceful that a business of this size remains aloof to this feedback.
