I ordered a package on next day delivery. After many wasteful phone calls it eventually arrived 2 weeks later.
I appreciate the snow caused issues but as a comparison I ordered 3 parcels via Royal Mail standard delivery (3-5 working days) at the same time - the Royal Mail parcels arrived within 2 days, ahead of the promised time window!
In short an incredibly poor show from a supposedly professional courier company.
I felt it necessary to leave feedback somewhere - the DPD website conveniently does not allow you to do this - and stumbled across this site. Having read some of the other reviews my experience seems to be par for the course. But what has really surprised me are the comments made by DPD employees - absolutely shocking! DPD should be raising disciplinarily action against these individuals immediately; calling a paying customer a "tw*t" is utterly unacceptable. And this is from an individual who is "above delivering parcels" - it's not a bonus she wants but the sack!
AV Addicts took payment for a TV they did not have in stock. Having waited in for two days expecting delivery, they only told me it was out of stock when I rang them. They promised to refund the payment back in April - it is now the back end of June and still no refund. Extremely poor customer service - AV Addicts haven't contacted me once. AV Addicts have effectively stolen my money and I would strongly recommend customers stay clear.
