Apalling customer service

After ordering online and expecting my deliver, I received my box. The delivery note said all items were enclosed... erm, no they weren't. So I call up customer service and they give me some rubbish about an item being in stock, then out of stock - so they've automatically refunded the cost.
"But I want it" I say - tough titties says the customer service person, that's not how the system works.
Well, you won't be getting any more orders from me. Shocking service.


Utter crap

They've just sent me an email telling me that something I ordered last month (received half the order, rest to follow) is cancelled. No explanation, no information about when I'll get refunded - utter rubbish. I will never order from Mothercare again.

Terrible experience

I had ordered tickets on Skiddle, went to the venue and presented my card on which I'd bought the tickets. My name wasn't listed, they had no record of me and pretty much insinuated that I was lying. No suggestions were to given as to how to resolve the situation and they started calling the bouncers over! I was calm, rational and trying to find a solution - and was made to feel like a criminal. Luckily, I had my iPhone with me and was able to search for and locate my original email (to which the people on the door said 'How do we know it's your email?' - I found that offensive. Eventually, after showing the email, showing my card, showing that I was who I said was by presenting a business card too - I was let in with my friends.

I will never use Skiddle again, the whole thing was embarassing and it ruined my evening. The organisers of the event were unsympathetic and unhelpful, but the whole thing was caused by the system not showing my booking on their list on the door.

Rubbish all round.

Very sorry to hear you had problems at the venue. Our system automatically sends across all customer's details to the event promoter so it's very unlikely that your name wasn't down - in the very rare case that there is an issue this is normally because the venue staff have forgotten to print the list or a similar 'human error'. We will of course look into this for you - could you please contact us on 0843 289 3333/ so we can locate your order and find out which venue you were dealing with
