Shedstore

Inferior products

I purchased a potting table from Shedstore and received it within the allotted 5 days. When it arrived there were no screws attached. They had been placed in a plastic bag on the outside of the table and the bag had a hole in it. I rang shed store and they said they would dispatch which they did all well and good. When I started to construct the table I discovered bowed wood none of the holes had been drilled and the instructions were awful. I had to get the help of both of my sons to get the table together. I suppose you only get what you pay for but I was really dissapointed with the quality. I would not use this company again.

Thank you for your review, again we apologise for the issues with the fixing pack. Unfortunately, none of the mass produced wooden products come pre-drilled. Using self-tapping screws makes it unnecessary to pre-drill but is recommended in many of our manufacturers instructions to ensure a smooth finish. We have also passed your comments to this manufacturer and requested that the instructions are made clearer.

Fantastic advice and products

I puchased a pen some time ago from Mr Pen and rang last week to get advice on how to get it working again. The man I spoke to was so curteous and proffesional and offered to clean it free of charge if I posted it to him. What a service.

I also purchased some refills and ink cartridges these were dispatched within two days and were value for money and the quality is second to none. Will use this company every time I need pens or sundries.

abysmal

I ordered medication for my dog on 16th September and was informed that the medication had shipped on 19th September. I had to contact the company today and was informed that the medication had not been shipped because my payment had failed.

At no point did they try to contact me even though they said they had rang me at home and left a message which I never received.

I am angry that I as the customer had to follow this up. My dog needs her medicine urgently. Not impressed and will be looking for another company in the future.

Unfortunately, despite trying, we weren't able to get through to this customer to explain that her payment had failed; as soon as she got in touch to provide us with alternative payment details, her order was, of course, dispatched, along with a complimentary discount voucher against any future orders.
We are very sorry that we weren't able to contact her in the meantime, and that a systems error meant that she was informed that the order had been shipped when it had not been. We have also refunded her the cost of her shipping.
MyVetMeds would like to apologise for this mistake, and assure our customers that we are modifying our system to ensure that this error will not occur again.
