EasyJet's baggage policy is complicated enough I spent two hours on research and discussing with three different customer service representatives-- each of the three with different answers. I finally had the third make a ruling and email it in writing. When I got to the gate on departure, the ruling was not honored. The representative refused to read my printed confirmation. We fought for several minutes before he capitulated, after I read it aloud to him when he refused to read it, and insisted they honor their agreement. The same experience on the return flight-- ignored email. Worse, cheating was a planned policy: they offered a sports equipment option, requiring purchase, that actually decreases your total allowance if you are not traveling alone. That is a cheating policy, to make an offer with a negative value, hiding the fact that it is a negative value under the most common of circumstances and representing it as if it were positive. As is not honoring an agreement.
On the return flight, a rattling began that turned to a hum on maximum speed, that was so loud, I could not hear the person next to me without their shouting. It was a torturous, long flight. If I did not have noise-cancelling headphones I think it would have damaged my hearing, and it was maddening as it was. It was that loud, that on my hundreds of flights in my lifetime, I have never experienced a noise like that. I wondered if they do not care to take planes out of service for non-mandatory repairs, hoping whatever was loose will have no effect on shell integrity. I will never fly EasyJet again, primarily because of their cheating policy: it is cheating to make an offer with a negative value; and it is cheating not to honor an agreement, and to try to slip out of an agreement. I have no evidence to believe the noise is a part of a systemic culture of inappropriate plane maintenance. Just my personal lack of confidence.
24-hour delivery is important; as is best price. But even better that they fix a delivery window, and they delivered within the time frame set. If only they carried Eukanuba Restricted Calorie Tins as well-- I still have to buy this from another supplier. But I will continue to shop with Pet Shop Express for dry food and as much as they offer that I regularly purchase.
Great website, except it is difficult to schedule delivery. I requested delivery within a one week window at the end of their "deliver by" date, and they delivered early. The second or third time I had a simple delivery request that cannot be accommodated, makes it difficult to order from them.
