We use Nightfreight to ship beds and mattresses. I have been actively searching for a replacement courier company for some time now and have finally found one.
Nightfreight lie and mislead both myself and my customers. They collect the goods and then do not scan them until they reach the main depot (Willenhall in Birmingham) and therefore they often find that goods are missing (around 10%). They will then ring my customer on the day of delivery and state that they 'have not received the goods' - very misleading, what the should say is; 'we have lost your new bed'.
When you ring their useless call centre, the staff are negative and will often lie, there are many examples of this and their attitude is the worst I have ever experienced.
In short, avoid this cowboy outfit like the plague. I cannot wait for a rival company (Tuffnells for instance) to get involved in the 2-man deliveries and then Nightfreight would be wiped out almost over night.
I would love to pass this information on to our Nightfreight rep', but we have never seen him and he never returns our calls.
We spend thousands of pounds a month with Nightfreight, and they could not care less.
Nightfreight is the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.
