I needed a new pair of wellies to replace my aged Hunters...they had given in to the bad weather we are having. Research led me to Agile wellies (French make) Hunters are no longer manufactured in Scotland and the reviews paint a bleak picture of the now poor quality. Then a quick search found me the best deal for the ones I wanted and they were to be had from Country House Outdoor. I found the website easy to use and with the offer of next day delivery (extra cost) I was a customer satisfied. I have road tested and am very pleased with my new Agiles, and hopefully we shall spend many a happy day together :-)
I have been advised parcel (ebay purchase) would arrive on the 27th November, it didn't, yet in their tracking system it advises out for delivery. Today is the 28th and is supposed to be out for delivery today between 07:30 and 17:30, but there is also a warning that deliveries can go on until 9pm on the lead up to christmas. I am not optimistic it will be delivered today, but my review is based on their shockingly bad communications. Other companies give you an am or pm or a 2 hour window, other companies text or call when delivery is within the next hour, city link waste your time. This is the second day I have had to hang around waiting for my parcel
Bought a Samsung TV from Exceptional AV, I knew what I was after and was looking for the best price for supply and 5 year guarantee...I found both at Exceptional AV. Delivery was well notified, there was a delay due to courier breaking down, but that's life and they followed up with a Sunday delivery which was great for me. Overall good price, good guarantee and excellent choices for delivery.
I ordered a Sonos S5 on the 22nd of September, the web stated (as did a follow up email) shipping in 2-4 working days and delivery in 3-8 working days.
Therefore I would have expected to be advised of shipping no later than 28 September and delivery by the 4th of October. I received my Sonos S5 today the 3rd of October.
I did panic a little when I saw the number of negative reviews published on some internet forums, and when I contacted SE to cancel, I was offered expedited delivery at no extra cost. I was happy to accept the offer, I guess SE should work on their order updating, my order sat as New for days, and then Packing for another week. But when it was despatched I had an email advising, and the delivery company gave me a 1 hour window, which was accurate.
One issue is the Sonos S5 arrived with a US plug, I'm not bothered though I have spares and the unit auto detects the voltage supply, but I did have an email to say they would send me a 3 pin plug...that made me smile.
