Cannot recommend this company what so ever. Noticed after a closer look that are part of The Hut hardly a decent company over them, and you may as well be dealing with Jabba the Hut, in fact probably get better service from Jabba.
My gf search for some straighteners for our daughter for Christmas and they came high up the rankings and was attracted by the price, anything from £10-£40 cheaper than other sites, but this experience proves a couple of things; you get what you (attempt to) pay for and the fact no amount of throwing money at Google ads or online marketing techniques to get them noticed has any bearing in how good (or poor in this case) their service is.
So regrettably this led us to placing an order and also opting for next day delivery. This was Saturday so didn’t expect delivery Sunday but come Monday evening we’d still not received the item.
We checked and we’d still not been charged for the item (only real positive of the experience) but then logged on to web site to see it was still in ‘processing’. We spoke to an online chat person who could only say sorry the order was not processed as was out of stock. There was no mention of this in the advert that led us to the site, no mention pre or post confirmation of the order email.
Given we opted for Next Day Delivery this is very poor communications and service. On speaking to this chat adviser they also could not give a date as to when would be in stock. So we asked to cancel as we were not willing to risk the potential of not having the desired gift. We have since, had to pay more, to ensure we get it in time from another online store. Also of note, it appears the item has since been removed from the web site! How about doing this before you bait people in to your site!
We also asked for complaint to be logged as the level of service, the misleading way they took our order is unacceptable to which we receive a bog standard reply. The apologies are very hollow feeling as, also having read more reviews; they have to offer so often. In reality had I read trustpilot prior to ordering we’d never have ordered in first place.
But not only is the apology empty, but also the ability to cancel an order (which I also note from other reviews they fail on and are aware, yet have not fixed). As having logged on again it seems order is still ‘processing’. Spoke again to a chat person have made the usual apologies and said it will be cancelled by their IT dept…
We shall see. But one thing for sure, neither The Hut, Lookfantastic will ever get our orders in the future and I would advise people steer clear, cheaper is not always better as even if the products are still the brands you want, the service level do not match up.
Let’s see how weighty their apology really is and see if they offer us the difference we have had to pay because of their failings.
Nice to find another surf brand store but find the range limited and some prices a bit much if what you want isn't in the sale. Delivery takes about a week just over, be better if under. That said if I could find what I want again at right price would use again.
Ordered a couple of things an delivery seems to take on average just over a week, would prefer if under a week! Range seems quite limited but after bit of trawling found items along lines of what I waned all be it not exactly. Pricing seems random, as in similar items have vast diff in price, and usually the one I wanted was the most expensive so had to settle on something else.
I also had to email a query about a bag I was looking at buying, checking whether the zip opened completely or just at front, which they did answer but also started giving info on weight, so not sure why or what relevant it had to my initial query, maybe they didn't read it correctly.
All said and done though, I would still order again as they are not too bad, there are worse and more expensive out there.
I thought their Tees looked quite nice, like the ethical side, bit miffed paying for delivery but thought what the hell, I like a few of the tees so thought would order one and maybe more if was good when it arrived.
Now this is where the problem lies. weeks later no tee. Given they charge for delivery this is pathetic service.

I've also sent them an email pointing out their lack of service and product asking for full refund.
Well 3 days on, no repsonse, no refund, no product. next step report them to my bank as fraudsters and trading standards.
Diabolicable company to deal with. Instore staff appear to be blagging students, with little or no management supervison as was the case when I went back to a store having beign told by the lass who sold me the product if any problems come back and see them. Not only were completely different staff instore but also no management whatsoever. After weeks if not months of trying to speak to a call centre, clearley based in india and following a script with no deposire to actually respond to the problem in hand. No matter what you try to do you only ever and up in the Indian call centre, like wise you write to the UKL addresses and low and behold thay contact you from India. Not a sinlge ounce of cusotmer service. Took evetually to writign to Hutchinson addresses directed at CEO to eventually get problem solved. Only way to get satisfaction with 3 is to be stubborn and persevere and go right to the top. I will NEVER use 3 again. I'd rather rate with 0 stars to be honest.
