My 2 year contract with buymobiles.net expires Oct 2014. Since august 2013, my phone has been repaired 3 times and still does'nt work. On Dec 23rd, 2013 I asked for a new phone after 3 repairs and they said it might be possible if I could send proof of all the repairs. Since that they say that they have sent out 3 repair envelopes on 3 different occasions since December 23rd, 2013 until today 16-02-14. None of these repair envelopes have arrived so I am left with a phone which does'nt work and paying £26 monthly. When I ask to speak to someone senior they refuse to talk to me, all I get is talking to receptionists who are pleasant and helpful but ultimately cannot help me.
They intend to ignore me until Oct 2014. My phone Samsung Galaxy S3 has reportedly one of the highest fault rates according to mobile phone insurers on the net.
My advice is to give this company a very wide berth. If I had just gone to a 3 network shop I would probably be ok. My SIM card works in other phones so the network is not at fault, it is a faulty handset and i was told by staff at Samsung that they had come across this problem before with another customer who had purchased their phone contract online and the phone was actually not new. My problem is the phone is locked to the network and no-one can unlock it. It temporarily was unlocked once but the samsung update locked it again.
How can a company like this get away with failing to uphold their contract.
This was my first experience shopping with Country Attire. I was looking for Barbour jackets and that is how I found their website.
I had to make two phone calls as I wanted to add something else to my order and then I wanted to send something back to change to a different colour.
Each time I think the phone rang at the most 2 rings and the staff were so warm and helpful. they sounded like they really like their jobs and enjoyed talking to their customers.
The deliveries were quick, I love the Barbour jackets that I purchased in the sale and would definitely recommend this company.
All in all a very good experience.
