Age Partnership

Not too happy with a phone call received whilst still looking for information about equity release on the internet. Did eventually sign up with Age Partnership and was dealt with in a professional manner throughout.
Was kept up to date by them but for the most important update (response by lender after survey completed) I had make a telephone enquiry as to why the delay - told within 10 days I had to telephone after 13 days. On the 14th day I called again to be told the reason for the delay after enquiries had been made. The delay was due to a big discrepancy between my estimate of the house value and the surveyors. The day after my second telephone call I got a letter from Age Partnership (dated the day of my second call) to advise me of the cause of the delay as I advised verbally.
After making my own investigations I advised Age Partnership to go ahead. Thereafter, my updates came from my solicitor at least 1 day before those from Age Partnership (AP).
I was surprised to find that the fees to AP were almost £200 more than to my solicitor but I| suppose they did a bit more of the work.
Not knowing about any other companies I could only suggest to enquirers that AP should be considered but it may be worth shopping around - something which I did not do.

Ordered 4pm, delivered 10am, fitted 11am, showered 11.15am.

Easy to find the required part. Simple to register and submit my order.
Although late afternoon when ordered I received the part by ten o'clock next morning.
Video guide to changing helped me to fit it within an hour of delivery and cool off under the shower within 15 minutes.

Hope I don't have to but will definitely use The Shower Doctor again.
