Lovefilm

The only film service worth joining

I joined Lovefilm on the strength of it's original advertising strapline ("no late fees") because I was sick of driving to and from Blockbuster and getting rammed by the occasional extortionate late fee and I have never looked back. There's so much more to this forward looking company than a DVD hire service though.

The customer experience is absolutely excellent and Lovefilm has been set up so that you can get as much or as little from it as you want or need. With different packages that well suit everybody's needs and wallets, they're highly competitive, offer live streaming of films, reviews and recommendations and even if the DVD gets lost in the post, they just absorb the cost and send you your next one. If you want to cancel, then just stop the DD. There's no comeback.
For real afficionados you can write reviews and use the site as an enthusiasts club rather than just a transaction point. I love it!

It's refreshing to see a company embrace changes in technology and seek to grow with the Internet rather than trying to restrict it.

Great service, excellent money back bonuses

Paddy Power's website is easy to navigate with excellent customer service support if you need it. They're safe, always competitive, often pay out long term bets, such as Premiership champs etc , early and do a decent line in losing bonus refunds. What's not to like? I've used them all.

Shoddy customer service

I've used myprotein for a few years now and, whilst the products are fine, they are becoming less competitive by price and their customer service is going down the pan. I recently tried to use a promo code that was emailed to me and it didn't work on the website. When I phoned customer service they said what I'd purchased didnt qualify for the promotion. Then, after id changed my order, they emailed me to say it did qualify but my new order didn't. When I phoned back the obstreperous customer service woman wasn't remotely interested despite my being a regular customer. AVOID. This company has forgotten it's original values and no longer competes with it's better rivals.
