We booked an overnight in the Britannia Leeds Airport Hotel with 15 days parking at hotel for a very reasonable price with which we were very pleased. When we arrived at the hotel at about 8pm we were told that an electrical fault had put some bedrooms out of action! A replacement hotel had been found for us, and others as it turned out, and taxis took us to the hotel and the airport next morning and generally speaking things worked out OK. But the replacement hotel was not geared up for the influx of extra last minute guests and it was gone 9.30 pm when we finally managed to have a bar meal (& they charged if you used a credit card) which was too late when you had to be up by 4.45 am. I do wonder about the "electrical fault" and wonder if it was a case of over booking as the hotel seemed packed with a couple of coach parties. It wasn't a good way to start a holiday.
