PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!.......My mother is a very busy lady but has waited in for 3 days now for them to COLLECT a parcel to be delivered to me.
No explanation whatsover and even the Agent my mother went through (payperparcel) advised my mother to go elsewhere and choose a different delivery option, ie different company!!!
They explained that they would contact Hermes on her behalf but couldn't guarantee this weeks delivery. Does MyHermes not appreciate people cannot sit in day after day for them not to even turn up!!!
I must admit I did warn my mother NOT to use MYHERMES as their tracking is non existent (through another problem delivery) but she had already booked a collection.
There are plenty of alternatives out there, with tracking facilities, will actually collect on time and will provide a decent service. Trust me.....MYHERMES will not be with us for long as they are getting even worse!!!!
I have just tried & given up AGAIN, trying to send my Mother a SIMPLE mothers day card.
I have tried and have had loads of problems before uploading pic's ect .....then adding text ect which cock's up the rest of the card.
I have a decent laptop and consider myself fairly savvy on computers but despite keeping this card order VERY simple (due to previous uploading problems) it STILL went wrong!!!
I did all my card, completed it with the delivery address, added a box of Thorntons Chocolates, clicked the link to pay.......NOTHING!!!......F5 to refresh the page, BLANK SCREEN!!!....Went back in, started again, re-did the full order, went to pay AGAIN......SAME THING!!!.
Like I say I have now had enough trying to use this site and went elsewhere with a simple website and ordered flowers instead.....This site is an absolute joke!!!
PHONED TO INQUIRE ABOUT 2 SEPARATE PROPERTIES, ONE AT THE TOP END OF THE RANGE & ONE SLIGHTLY SMALLER BUT IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO EACH OTHER.
FIRST CHAP I SPOKE TO SOUNDED VERY BORED WITH WHAT I HAD TO SAY, AND YOU KNOW WHEN YOU SPEAK TO SOMEONE BUT THEY ARE JUST NOT INTERESTED?, WELL THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT IT WAS LIKE. HE DID HOWEVER GET ME A PRICE FOR THE HIGHER SPEC CARAVAN WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM BUT WHEN I EXPLAINED THAT I WANTED THE SECOND TO BE SOMEWHERE NEAR HE TOLD ME HE HAD A MAP & TO HOLD THE LINE.........I EVENTUALLY GOT CUT OFF!!!
PHONED UP AGAIN, EXPLAINED THAT I HAD BEEN CUT OFF, THE 2ND CHAP ASKED WHO I WAS SPEAKING TO, WAS IT MALE OR FEMALE. I CONFIRMED IT WAS A MALE AND WHEN HE CAME BACK ON THE LINE HE JUST TOOK THE CALL AGAIN BUT DIDN'T MENTION THE 1ST CHAP THAT I HAD SPOKEN TO.
TALKING NOW TO THE SECOND MALE HE ASKED ME MY PERSONAL DETAILS SO HE COULD APPARENTLY GET INTO THE SYSTEM. I EXPLAINED I DIDN'T WANT TO GIVE OUT MY PRIVATE DETAILS AT THIS STAGE AS I WAS MERELY MAKING AN INQUIRY. HE THEN WENT ON TO TELL ME RATHER ABRUPTLY THAT HE COULDN'T HELP IF I DIDN'T GIVE HIM MY DETAILS.
I WAS GETTING MORE & MORE ANNOYED AT THE ATTITUDE TOWARDS ME SIMPLY FOR INQUIRING ABOUT A FAMILY HOLIDAY & I MENTIONED THAT THE 1ST CHAP DIDN'T ASK ME ALL MY DETAILS BEFORE GETTING INTO THE SYSTEM. THE REPLY I GOT WAS "I HAVE SPOKE TO MY COLLEAGUE AND HE SAID HE NEVER SPOKE TO YOU", .......A BLATANT LIE!!!! .
AFTER A BRIEF ARGUMENT WITH THE BOOKINGS ASSISTANT I ENDED UP TELLING THEM TO STICK IT & I WOULD LOOK ELSEWHERE.
AND AS FOR SUE, THE SO CALLED BOOKINGS MANAGER.........WELL......BEING LEFT ANNOYED WITH THE EXPERIENCE I HAD JUST ENCOUNTERED I ASKED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE WAY MY BOOKING ENQUIRY HAD BEEN HANDLED, HER REPLY WAS...."WELL I AM IN THE SAME ROOM & DIDN'T HEAR ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE WAY ANYONE SPOKE TO YOU".
ASKED FOR THE DETAILS OF THE HEAD OFFICE SO I COULD MAKE AN OFFICIAL COMPLAINT & HAD THE PHONE PUT DOWN ON ME!!!!
SO BASICALLY, I CAN'T GIVE AN ACCURATE ACCOUNT OF THE STATE OF THE PARKS, ECT...ECT....AS I NEVER EVEN GOT A CHANCE TO GET PAST THE BOOKINGS STAFF!!
This is a fantastic company that does exactly what it says. I have used this company for years, mainly for batteries but other purchases too. They are very helpful (the one time I had a question), great prices & always 1st Class post. Don't know how they do it but they manage it time after time. Credit where credit is due. I am currently on my free trial and because of our terrible tv reception I find Netflix very convenient to watch via my laptop.
Some great series on it but my main criticism is the lack of newer releases. But see how it goes for the rest of my trial.
I am still waiting for my payment for my cd's and is nearly 5 weeks with no sign of the cheque!!!.
Already been ripped-Off by Cashbee for a load of Dvd's so thought I would give MusicMagpie a go with my cd's.... BIG MISTAKE!!!
I have wrote to them to tell them to forget it and just send my items back, there reply was that the cheque would be sent out shortly.....Still nothing. Should of banged them on Ebay as a bundle. At least most of the time you get a decent buyer who will actually PAY for your goods!!!.....I will update this post if I ever do see my payment :-(

Main reason apart from bad management & stock organisation has to be the fact that they increased the shop front & viewing floor but in their wisdom reduced the size of their storage area hence the constant lack of stock!!....Not the cleverest idea me thinks!!! 1 out of 5 for Weymouth.
Don't be flattered by all the advertising of some of the "so called" bigger names out there, I have been with most of them over the years and I can honestly say "At last I am settled".
The Customer Service people not only are uk based but are well trained (not foreign robots), extremely helpful and polite and do exactly what they say they will.
Why am I shouting from the rooftops on their behalf??.....because I have had years of c**p with other ISP's and telephone services I simply wanted to spread the word!!!
Spent years with AOL, Orange, Tiscali & then Talk Talk...all of which I had serious problems, bad customer service, billing problems, house move MAJOR problems & lies...etc...etc...
Nothing is a problem with plusnet and they do exactly what they promise, plus every time you recommend a friend you get a bit more off your monthly bill.
My monthly bill is now just over £20 which is broadband (40gb), Telephone Line Rental, 24/7 phone calls inc, 0870 & 0845 numbers, freephone Customer Service + Tech support etc...and I am in one of the dearer areas!!
Trust me, you will not be disappointed as myself, my family & friends will testify.
Again, like Lidl's, it's products are very tasty & a very good price....but, due to advertising campaign's, I have noticed many price increases throughout the store. Obviously to pay for the extra advertising costs.
Not as cheap as Lidl's, but taste & quality like Lidl's are excellent but a close second.
An absolute nightmare of a company that take forever to get you connected, terrible customer service and lies regarding connection & changeover dates. Luckily I managed to pull out after my Tiscali contract came to an end, they promised me a Talk Talk service and didn't deliver on any front.
As for the technical department.....shocking!!!
Claim to be one of the cheapest but not worth the terrible service.
Do yourself a favour for about the same price, and in many occassions, even cheaper go to Plusnet. I have recommended that many friends and family now I get Line Rental, 24/7 calls inclusive calls, calls to 0845 0870 numbers included, 40gb download broadband & BRITISH call centre all for just over £20 with my recommendations bringing my bill down all the time.

I often use the Sherborne branch while visiting my daughter and have got to praise the staff in this branch.
I have ALWAYS found them to be helpful, cheerful and polite & have never had anything negative to report.
Through difficult times, due to the expansion of the store, they have done everything in their power to try not to allow the building work to disrupt the customers shopping experience.
I simply can not fault this company!!!
My local Weymouth branch is fantastic!!!......I go about 8pm for my shopping and practically have the store to myself.
Their price are fantastic, staff = fantastic, quality of food = Absolutely superb!!!
You will never get your Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's, Morrisons etc.....etc...to compare a shop price with Lidl's as I guarantee Lidl's would wipe the floor with them!!.
I have to say the taste and quality of Lidl's products are second to none and whoever finds the supplying companies to Lidl's (some of which you probably won't have heard of) deserve a HUGE pat on the back!!!....Well done & keep it up!!!

Very fast & love the way it's set up with saving footprints etc.. but it just will NOT function along with certain websites. I have come across a few glitches but the main one has to be "Paypal".
Upon doing some research over the internet I have found out that they have known about compatability issues with certain website's but have chose to ignore it for years, in some cases!!!

Excellent customer service for Contract Phones!!!.....Customer service rep was very helpful & polite at the start of both my contract & then my wifes!!!
I would highly recommend them, and only downside is....when I was on Pay-as-you-go their handsets always seemed to be more expensive than any of the other providers.
I have been with these about 10 years now and I have over 3800+ feedback running at 100% .....but what a struggle to keep it!!!
More & more fly-by-night crooks appearing on Ebay these days and I am sick to death of being sent faulty or incomplete goods and then having to foot the cost of returning something which shouldn't have been sent out in the first place.
Sellers can't even leave negatives if buyers decide not to pay or try to lie about a transaction.
Ebay's fees are now through the roof!!!...combine their fees with Paypal fees and the are making a FORTUNE out of sellers.
If you have a problem which isn't listed it is near on impossible to get to speak to someone about it.
My advice, try Ebid as there are NO fees but unfortunately not as many potential buyers (unless we spread the word!!)
Absolutely superb website but has dropped its usual standards due to the following sellers:- Zoverstocks = Fantastic prices & when the orders are correct, 90% of the time they are in excellent condition.....but, they take FAR too long to dispatch items, which seem to be getting longer & longer. Out of the last handful of orders I would say 80% of them have been wrong, missing discs, wrong films, not as advertised ect..ect...Customer service is pretty quick to rectify but when you wait about 10 days for an item which is wrong, not worth the hassle!!!.
Indigostarfish.com (an Amazon preferred partner)....absolutely shocking delivery times!!!.....No comms whatsoever, items take about 2 weeks then one item from order was was then put back upto another 3 weeks (5 weeks in total!!)....which was subsequently cancelled!!...Absolute Joke!!
There are some great sellers on there though and take my advice, avoid the above 2 and you won't go too far wrong!!!
This is the second time I have ordered from petplanet & unfortunately they have let me down again. I phoned petplanet on Friday 14th October as I needed the purchased items pretty quickly and was told if I ordered within the next 10 minutes it would be dispatched the same day.
I did this with time to spare and sat and waited for my expected package.
Phoned today 19th October just to question the whereabouts of items and was told, after some searching, that the parcel had been dispatched on the 18th as one of the items were out of stock.
My questions are:- Why advertise out-of-stock items?. If a certain item is running low then re-order in good time. Basic storekeeping tasks!!
Why hold back the rest of the order for one item?. I suspect a bit of penny pinching in respect of the p&p, which, is well overpriced at £3.99 and should go on weight of parcel.
Last time I ordered was much the same except I waited weeks for the order to be completed so despite the cheap prices it's simply not worth the wait. Very poor and I did allow them a 2nd chance but they will not get a 3rd!!!....Oh, and no doubt this message will be answered by the same automated responce that every other complaint receives, not good enough and a token gesture!!!
Update as of 22/10/2011.....................Got to say "fair play" to the staff of Petplanet as I have not only received a sympathetic reply from Yvonne Jack-Head of Customer Services (and not an automated one!!), but on 21/10/2011 from the MD himself.
I feel this has to be commended & also appreciate things do go wrong from time to time but on a personal level 2 out of 2 is a pretty bad average so why shouldn't I seek alternatives and give them a chance?
However, due to their excellent responces I am prepared to try again in the near future and take it from there.
There are clearly some problems but the calibre of the replies at least prove them to be worthy of another go.
Fingers crossed that all goes well and as a final comment to Petplan, I do not go out of my way to complain regarding my shopping experiences as you will see through my other ratings, but I simply tell it as it is (in my personal experience). I am always more than happy to give companies good ratings as well as bad, so its not a case of complaining for the sake of it!!.
