I have also fallen victim to this company’s shoddy standard. I ordered 2 mattresses and sent 2 separate orders. I received 2 confirmation e mails. One mattress was delivered and one not. I tried to contact Bedworld by e mail and phone but it took 4 days to get back to me. When they did get back the person I spoke to (Brenda)told me in a very condescending manner that I had received the order. I explained several times that I had 2 completely separate orders and that the money for each had been deduced from my bank account independently. At this point I heard her colleague in the background trying to alert her to the fact that she was looking at the wrong order. She asked if she could ring back. I agreed and she did phone. She told me that “the girl who entered the orders was confused as both delivery addresses were number 11”. Yes they were but for completely different streets and postcodes. Surely this is irrelevant anyway – even if I had submitted 2 separate orders for the same item to the same address given that each had its own individual reference and payment was taken for both, both should have been processed. She made no effort to apologise and told me that she had printed the order now. I told her to refund my money to which she agreed. We will see! I am going to contact the trading standards authority about this company as the buying public needs to be protected from this kind of incompetence.
