Glasses Direct
Excellent in every way!
Having always bought my glasses (varifocals) from opticians in the high street, and paying a lot of money for them (£700 last year!), I decided to investigate the possibility of buying them on line instead. I did a bit of research first in order to learn about different types of lenses etc. I managed to obtain details of my pupillary distance from the high street optician from whom I bought my glasses last year. Legally they do not have to give this to you, but as I had just spent £700 on new glasses, I stood my ground and obtained the measurements. If you cannot obtain these details do not worry because the opticians at Glasses Direct will help you with everything you need to know. The first pair of glasses I ordered did not suit me when I tried them on, but I was able to return them and received an immediate refund. Do take advantage of the home trial. I then ordered a second pair of glasses with different frames which are excellent. I will be buying my glasses from Glasses Direct from now on. They have an excellent choice of lenses, frames etc. at reasonable prices.
