The booking process is easy either by internet or phone call. As with all travel companies the brochures tend to veil some of the negatives about hotels/locations which is unforgivable when dealing with senior people, many with disabilities. Target/commission led agents can be over enthusiastic with the facts in a effort to coerce a booking. I have travelled with Saga a few times and have a holiday booked for next year and it's a good medium for meeting people in similar circumstances. The no single supplement on most hotel holidays and the little extra you pay with porterage etc included is well worthwhile. Their slogan "holidays done properly" is in the main correct but the company has gone downhill in many clients estimation since the departure of Roger de Haan. It's the little things that need to be addressed to get their reputation back to where it was.
Recently travelled economy to Dubrovnik in Croatia and whilst the flights were bang on time both ways, the stewards and the food were not. Early flights meant miserable cabin staff, the return in the afternoon was like being with a different airline. Mediocre meal going out and just a sandwich on the return. Glad I'm going with Croatia Airlines next time as their flights are consistently good. Sorry BA despite your recent PR exercise on Sky in truth it's still not what you expect from Britain's premier airline.
Ok even with a satnav off the M23 it's a bit hard to find when at a junction you're told you've arrived but a quick glance to the left finds Airparks, perhaps they could put a sign before the junction advising a left turn! The whole process from booking in, when we boarded a bus immediately to the return when we had a 10 minute wait, went like clockwork. Returning the car was easy to find and the staff were courteous and happy. Will definitely use again and recommend anyone to Airparks
