I am still trying to get a refund for an order I placed on 9th November and cancelled by email 2 days later due to urgently required items being out of stock. I followed their procedure and wrote confirming the cancellation by recorded delivery letter sent to their offices the same day. I received an e-mail from them on 16th. Nov stating the order was cancelled and that refund of the sum due would be repaid to my credit card account within 10 days.
No refund was received nor my emails answered by 2nd December so I again sent a recorded delivery letter sent to the company. Again this was not answered. So I wrote yet again on 16th. December sent by recorded delivery and still no reply nor refund.
They have no telephone No. so you cannot make contact with anyone to discuss the problem which seems a strange approach to developing any kind of good customer service.
It's now Dec 24th , in the season of goodwill, but now I have little option but to take legal action to recover the £64.49 due to me, hoping they are not about to cease trading due to cash flow problems.
Looking back on other reviews I am not the first one to have similar troubles with this company. It's a pity, because I was impressed by their product quality and speedy courier deliveries.
I have dealt with this company for many years and have enjoyed consistent excellent quality, competively priced, well packaged items from their wide range. Their website is very easy to use and find your way around and the delivery is very fast, even to this small market town where I live. Their regular,free publications contain factual information about the common ailments which are well written by qualified people.
My wife and I are now in our 80's and are still very fit mentally and physically which seems to amaze our GP.
