Sportsdirect

Disgusted with customer services, still awaiting for an item I paid a month ago.

Bought a jacket and socks 40 days ago totalling £75
I got an e mail a few days later that my order had been dispatched, waited and waited but nothing arrived so I contacted SportsDirect by e-mail. Received a reply a few days later that courier (YODEL) coudln't find the parcel and I should advice them if I wanted a refund or the order resent. I replied that I wanted the order resent but after a week nothing arrived. I contacted them again by e mail but there was no reply so after checking on line I found their Customer Services number. I waited more than 20 minutes until I got to talk to a member of staff. He told me that they would resend the order and I should receive an e-mail. I got a parcel today from them with just the socks!!! NO JACKET!!! I am again on the phone waiting while I write this, i have been waiting for 15 minutes so far ( I dread to think how much this calls will cost) I am so frustrated, annoyed and disgusted. I will have to pay for this calls I made, so this is going to be the most expensive jacket I've ever bought. I will never again buy from Sportsdirect and I will make sure to let friends and family know not to trust them as it is not worth the stress. And I do hope I get my jacket!!!

Ordered from a local takeaway just to be called by JustEat 30 minutes later to let me know they couldn't get hold of the restaurant. Awaiting refund for that. Ordered again from a different restaurant and the order was rejected because the restaurant was too busy. The customer service although helpful won't change the fact that I had two orders cancelled. Why do they offer a service that they can't provide?? They should know what restaurants are available and when. Totally annoyed. It is not the first time this happens to me with justeat, but I gave it another go since it was about a year ago. Won't be using the service again, not worth the hassle and awaiting for the money to appear on my account again.

I am so sorry to read of your experience ordering yesterday evening. I would firstly like to apologise on behalf of the takeaway for the ambiguity surrounding your delivery time. I can understand your frustration having placed an order in good time to be told ultimately it would not be delivered. This is not the kind of experience we want for our valued customers.

I am also sorry to hear your experience with our LiveChat team was not of the standard you deserve. I can assure you that our customer care representatives do invest care and attention in resolving your issues. I can only apologise that this was not apparent that evening. Unfortunately we can only speak on your behalf to the takeaway and it seems the takeaway had already failed in making your order leaving the LiveChat member unable to negotiate further.

You mention that your order was subsequently cancelled. To clarify, your funds will be released within 3-7 working days. No funds will leave your account as your order will have been cancelled before the funds were captured.
