I used the site upon the recommendation of a friend. I got the game I wanted, using a Steam code, for less than half of Steam's price.
I have just checked the tracking on my latest Amazon order to find that apparently the delivery address is invalid. I have double checked the address and it is not invalid, in fact it is the same address that Royal Mail have never failed to deliver an Amazon order to. I have re-requested delivery for tomorrow, but if they failed to find me today I have no hope that they will find me tomorrow. Admittedly our building has two front doors, but it's not that hard to check two doors that are 4 meters apart!
Amazon are the online retailer with the biggest range, usually the best prices and most definitely the most reliable delivery.
Since placing my first order with them in June 2002 there has hardly been a month when I haven't ordered at least one item from them. Having just looked it up I can tell you that to date I have placed 168 orders, for items including: books, DVDs, games, electronics, a television set, kitchenware, shoes, music downloads and lately Kindle books.
I have only once had an issue with a missing item and that was the courier's fault, in response Amazon quickly re-dispatched the item via a different courier.
They are by far my favourite online retailer, I cannot rate them highly enough.
