I've been hearing on CNN today about Kleargear "fineing"
a customer $3500 for writing a negative review of Kleargear.
Anyone thinking of ordering anything from Kleargear should take into account the behaviour of Kleargear. Would you like to have to make a complaint and end up getting "fined" for expressing how you've been treated?
Myself, I would avoid this firm as though they had the plague.
I live in Europe and while on vacation in the USA bought an internet radio from Walmart online. I was very satisfied with the selection and the prices offered by Walmart. After eight or nine days I was able to pick-up the radio that I had purchased.
When i returned to my home in Europe I found that the radio was defect. I informed Walmart and was immediately given the option of returning the defective radio. I did this, although I had to pay the postage myself, as I live outside of the USA. Walmart quickly refunded my purchase price. I am very pleased with the way Walmart reacted and how they kept me fully informed. I certainly recommend that anyone living within the USA use Walmart's online shopping service.
The only aspect of the transaction I regret was that the shipment time from Europe to Walmart's return center was dangerously close to the time limit allowed by Walmart. I suggest to Walmart that they give a special time allowance for return shipments from overseas. Although I sent my package airmail express the arrival time was still took one month. I'm sorry my radio didn't work, I can't find another in Europe at nearly as an attractive price, but Walmart did very well in taking care of my problem. Thank you, Walmart!
I recently bought a Grace Digital GDI-IR1000 wifi radio from Walmart. This radio is a wifi radio that can receive thousands of radio stations off the Internet. I looked forward very much to my new radio. However on trying it found that it would not receive/display a station list. The radio always returned the message "Error loading Stations list". Attempting to read the radio's registry key returned a similar message.
I found the included instruction manual to be very sparse and lacking information. I sent an e-mail to Grace Digital Support describing my problems and asking for advice. After waiting several days for a response from Grace (which never came) I arranged with Walmart to return the radio.
I think that my experience with using the radio, the lack of a decent instruction manual, and the lack of help from Grace Support should warn others of the risk of buying a Grace radio. If Grace cares to contact me and offer a reasonable explanation I will consider removing this review.
I have twice sent quanities of gold and silver scrap to Star Refining and was very disappointed with the payment. One delivery was of 6 kilos of silver amalgam and I received payment of only about $100.
I suspect that they pay far under the true market value. Before sending scrap to them you would be wise to check several other firms for the best price.
I recently ordered and have received a sheepskin vest from this firm.
I can recommend this firm. Their prices are very good when compared to other sheepskin clothing firms and the vest I received is very nice, it looks good, and really is warm and cozy.
However I am giving four stars rather than five stars because the vest is at least a size too small even though I gave my chest and belly size in inches before ordering. I also requested airmail delivery to Denmark, but the vest was mailed by normal surface mail. I suggest to Shartlesville sheep skin that they look into DHL, or other fast deliverers. I will very likely order from this firm again and also recommend it to my friends.
I tried the MobilityPass broadband modem in the Summer of 2009 while on vacation in Europe. I was able to get only two Internet connections and afterwards my connection requests were denied. Several weeks later I found that $424 had been withdrawn by MobilityPass from my bank account, without my permission and without even an online invoice. $50 of this was applied to my account deposit, even though my deposit was still above the minimum.
When attempting to close my account with MobilityPass they said that they do not refund the deposits, in fact after one year they just pocket the money left unused by the customer.
I was forced to find other ways to get online while on vacation and found that 50% of the hotels I stayed in had free wifi. There were also commercial hotspots everywhere that charged 8 Euro for 50 minutes. That works out to 1/50th of what MobilityPass charged me per minute. A person can make nearly free phone calls using VOIP on his laptop, or else buy a
prepaid sim card. You can even buy a good basic mobile phone for less than 15 Euro.
So I don't recommend using MobilityPass, they are much,much too expensive.

I have found that that Trustpilot is allowing firms to respond to negative reviews with replies that include large amounts of Spam.
Also allowing positive reviews of firms that are nearly certain to have been posted by employees or agents of the same firms.
The catalog offers micro SD chips from 1gbyte to 8 gbytes, but in fact all the Micro chips above 2 gbyte are of the SDHC type which aren't compatible with many electronic products. I ordered a Micro SD 4 gbyte chip as described in the catalog and received a Micro 4 gbyte SDHC chip which wouldn't work in my GPS unit.
I agreed that Lowpricememory could replace the 4gbyte Micro SDHC chip for a 2gbyte Micro SD at my cost. Later they informed me that a standard sized 2 gbyte SD was being sent to me. Told them that I ordered a Micro SD chip not a standard sized chip. After a couple of weeks a package arrived at my post office with 20 quid due on it. Turned out that an invoice showing the value to be 25 quid was attached. I had already paid for the Micro SD and wouldn't pay another 20 quid, so I told the post office to return the package.
I asked twice for a refund, but never got it, finally had to ask Visa to refund my money, which they did.
