My friend had a 2 year contract, £35.76p per month.
after 18 months it was always losing connection. The mobile was returned to Carphone Warehouse (Colchester-Essex) where it was repaired. This took 12 days.
Then the "Q2" Sim Card was not recognised. It was returned again and after 15 days nothing was heard from them.
I returned to the shop to be told that they had mistakenly cancelled the new order. Huh.
I cancelled the contract as they had been given "Reasonable Time" to complete the repair.
They did not give me any replacement, no refund and got the impression that customers were a nuisance.
I cancelled the direct debit as agreed with the shop assistance at "Colchester-Essex"
I then got a letter from "O2" who stated that I had broken the contract.
I told them the contract is between "Carphone Warehouse" and myself and that "O2" & Carphone Warehouse should not expect me to pay any moneys without issuing me with a phone.
Now "O2" want to send in the debt collectors.
is this what we as Customers should expect from a big company like this.
No Phone, No service but they expect our money.
Don't shop at Carphone Warehouse and dont use "O2"
They are just there to take your money with NO customer support.
What an attitude they have.
They do not deserve any rating, only recycling.
