Ordered a dishwasher for a Sunday delivery. I had arranged this specifically as it was the only day I could be in to accept the goods. All email confirmations of purchase and processing received as expected. I logged on to Know How at 10pm the evening before delivery as instructed to find out my delivery slot. This was confirmed on their site as 14.30 - 18.30... all very acceptable.
Then woke up on Sunday morning to a message on answerphone to say they wouldnt be deliverying due to lack of stock, and to phone a number that according to the last email I received was closed on a Sunday.
This is what I call unacceptable service. They will not be getting away with this - I am going all the way to the top. On the basis of this experience I will never buy online from Dixons, PC World or Currys and I urge everyone to do the same.
