Hidden charges if you don't renew

When I called to stop an expensive renewal going through automatically, I was charged £25 by direct debit for the "administration" of not renewing with 1st Quote.

I had the direct debit reversed. Two weeks later, a letter from them threatened to put debt collectors on to me, with the consequent destruction to my credit status.

Just a word of warning really - if you see them top of the listings in price, add at least £25 to the cost of the policy, because that's the minimum it will cost to stop a renewal of the policy you're being presented with. And utterly brazen they are with it - pay up or we'll trash your credit rating!


Excellent - service, support and relationship

We're an IT company, who've partnered with Telappliant since 2006 for both our own telephony and for our clients.

Inevitably there's plenty of opportunity for frantic and fraught conversations when systems are misbehaving, but I do have to say that I've never had anything other than an excellent relationship with the sales team, the deployment team and the support folks afterwards. I can't recall any occasion when they've let us down - and that's important when we're relying on them to help deliver our reputation too.

Overall - a genuine thank you all at Telappliant for a really great service!
