Meaco

Awful customer service

The dehumidifier worked fine until the very end of its warranty when it began to leak. I contacted Meaco for advice and they failed to advise me of the simple, easy-to-solve blockage that they later tried to charge me £70 to repair. This fee was immediately discounted to £35 when I refused to pay.
The unit was damaged in transit (my fault according to Meaco- I should have used bubble wrap). They kept my machine for over 3 weeks for a simple repair job.
They dismantled my unit without first asking me. They replaced my unit with another of a different colour, again, without asking me. They won't give you accurate courier timeslots. I'll never buy from them again and I do not recommend them.
