Placed an order for a new tv on a tuesday for delivery saturday, the guy put me on hold while he went away and checked my tv was in stock - all good so far, order placed.
I get a call Friday confirming delivery time then saturday morning (which I had taken off work especially) I get a call saying item is not in stock anymore when they checked the warehouse and the guy on the phone said he would call me back first thing monday to tell me what the situation is after speaking with the manufacturer to see if it is possible to order another one. After no callback I rang customer services myself - was told yes mr customer it will be back in stock tomorrow - is next saturday ok? I accepted this....mistakes happen I suppose.
8pm that evening in our new flat we get the internet working:
The guy that promised me a callback had opted to leave me an email?! how cowardly, especially as I said I currently have no internet...
Sorry we dont know when it will be back in stock - "could be a week/could be a month"
- I'm now very worried, one person said in stock tomorrow, another said out of stock but didn't ring me to tell me as promised.
