I've used Interparcel continuously for the last few years and every single parcel has been delivered either on time or early without any damage or mishap. The only area in which they fall short is that they can't give you any idea of when they will call. Many couriers now give you a window so that you can plan your day. Interparcel need to do this as I do get a bid fed up if I have to wait in too long. If they do that, they'll get the fifth star.
Many companies' customer service is about fine words, free vouchers (which can be insulting) and little else, you suspect that nobody's going to really take your complaint on board. FADVD set the standard that others should follow. My concerns have been acted on politely, quickly and effectively. Their handling of the recent Royal Mail computer system difficulties was a model of first-class service: A+communications, staff working overtime to clear the backlog - all evidence of genuine concern for customers. At last, a company that treats existing customers as well as they do prospective ones, by making good on their promises.
